My Weight Loss Journey

Since June, I’ve been on a transformative journey, losing 40 pounds and feeling stronger than ever. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth every challenge. My approach started with the ketogenic (keto) diet and cardio workouts, but after hitting a plateau, I incorporated intermittent fasting, which helped me break through and continue seeing progress.  In the beginning, I committed to the keto diet, focusing on cutting carbs and increasing healthy fats. Turning 41: Embracing the Feeling of Getting Older

As I approach my 41st birthday, I find myself reflecting on the reality of getting older. It’s not just about the physical changes—like deeper laugh lines or occasional aches—but the emotional and mental shifts that come with each passing year. And while there’s a little sadness in seeing time pass, there’s also excitement for what lies ahead. Aging isn’t something to fear but a reminder to cheris...

Whether it’s the fear of the unknown or the pain of losing a loved one, death forces us to confront the most difficult questions: Why are we here? What happens when we die? How do we live knowing everything will end? The unknown aspect of death makes it daunting. We don’t know what comes after, and that lack of control can be terrifying. But instead of fearing death, we can embrace it as a reminder of life’s preciousness. It pushes us to cherish our moments, to love deeply, and to live with greater clarity and purpose. Loss, though painful, reflects the depth of love. Grief never truly leaves, but over time it transforms. The love we had for those who passed becomes a part of us, shaping how we live and how we remember. In this way, death doesn’t erase our connection—it redefines it. In the face of death, the way we live matters more. Knowing that our time is finite encourages us to be present, to nu...
